Meet the Shop Dogs

Roxy Bradley

roxy_easter

Roxy Bradley is in charge around here. Aunt Kerry adopted her from Onslow County Animal Control malnourished and  heartworm positive. Since then Roxy has turned things around, she has earned her Canine Good Citizen and Therapy Dog certifications.

Leo Bradley

Leo_2010

Leo is Roxy's "little brother." He is our official toy tester to see how fun they are and how long they last. It is hard work, but someone has to do it.

Jake Greenberg

jakecontact

Jake is Aunt Kerry's resident fashion consultant. Jake's interests include modeling clothes, chasing his friend Donatella, and tennis. If you see Jake in the store, expect to toss him a tennis ball.

Levi

 Levi

Levi is a pug/terrier mix that was rescued from a breeder that was going to terminate his mothers pregnancy!  She claimed that her breeding sire had fraternized with her "inside pets."  This was heartbreaking, so I quickly sent her the money to keep the litter, and out popped my best buddy!  He loves cookies, chewies, and to snuggle.  You have to make him get out of bed in the morning!  Levi tastes all of the treats here at Aunt Kerry's Pet Stop.  He eats a raw diet, which helps him manage his puggie weight!

Mr. Maxx

Mr maxx

Maxx is also a recue from Pender County.  He was dropped off at a kill shelter by his family of 5 years!  A local rescue in the area pulled him from the kill shelter and took him back to their safe shelter where he remained for 2 more years!  With that cute face!  I adopted him just before the holidays and his 7th birthday.  He has been one of the best dogs I have ever had.  He has not one behavioral or social issue.  He loves cats, dogs, kids and grown ups.  He especailly loves kids.  He lets them climb all over him!  He has made me a great advocate of senior dog adoption.  He came home ready to nap and hang out, not to eat all of my socks! You may catch him at the store, if you do show him some love!

Donatella Versquishy

Donatella

Donatella is a sunbather that enjoys fashion and accessories, curling up with Jake Greenberg. But most importantly eating.

Himm Kitty

himm

Himm was found as a stray in the Monkey Junction area.  Sadly he had been getting into fights and his ear was badly scratched and infected.  After a trip to the vet his ear is completely healed and he now lives a happy and healthy life in his new home.  We found out later from a customer that he very closely resembles a flame point Siamese.  Himm Kitty eats Orijen, a grain free, never frozen food.  This is a true testament to the fact that you can find any breed of pet in rescue, or maybe just outside your back door!

Brody

brodie

Brody was rescued from Pender County at 3 months old.  By the ripe old age of 3 months he had already been returned 3 times and sold at a yard sale.  Needless to say he had a few behavioral issues, but his spunky attitude and playfull approach to life outweigh his few issues.  His silly antics keep me laughing on a daily basis.  He has also taught me patience and how to distract and redirect! He is a very busy puppy and I do not keep him distracted he will get into trouble!  The best way to keep him out of trouble is to keep him busy with raw bones, frozen stuffed kongs, puzzle toys and interactive games!  Brody eats basically anything I bring home, he loves Orijen, Acana, Taste of the Wild, and of course raw!
